Evening all. I'm after a cheapish, below the waterline, slap on paint for a dinghy.
I picked it up off the street to use as a tender. After adding a million fibreglass patches, the boat is now (kinda) waterprooof. But its looking a bit 'ghetto' (said the 14 year old). Advice appreciated.
Exterior house paint, cheap enamel from the Green or Blue Shed Company, or even better yet .... a concoction of anything you have laying around at home that meets the previous mentioned products.
Don't make it look too good else somebody will knock it off like you did. ![]()
Whatever unused paint you have sitting in a tin in your shed will do.
Thanks for piping in. I've only just sanded off all/most of the flaking house paint. I think I'll have to cough up for some 2pac stuff.

Save your money. If you have to buy paint then get some White Knights oil based paving paint tinted baby poo brown. No primer, just apply 3 coats.
