Is anyone considering re powering in the near future? I was thinking of trying to organise a group buy? Im happy to do the legwork if people tell me what they are after, i'm looking to buy in the next couple of months, either Yanmar, Beta or Nanni. To get the best bang for your buck I would suggest listing a model from each manufacturer you would be happy with (price dependant). If you are not comfortable sharing publicly send me a PM.

Not fussed, i've narrowed my purchase down to a 3ym30ae, beta 35 or nanni 4.38. If we can get a large enough list of people interested ill run a formal tender. Any engine from the manufacturer would count towards the volume so if you know people with powerboats let them know also. Ive being doing some research and there seems enough fat in the margins to make the savings worthwhile. For example there is currently a $4,000 aud difference in retail price between the same engine in the UK vs Aus, this is before you even factor in margin, this is on a approx 11,000 engine (admittedly the overhead costs would be higher here)
