The Fleming web page probably has all the info you need. Download their handbook too while your at it.
cruisenews.net This is the forum for windvane enthusiasts, I'm Ramona there as well. Look down the page for links to Youtube videos. Tons of info about and should not be a problem.
If you care to send pictures of your boat, cockpit, transom ,rear deck etc, to Fleming Marine Phil George said he would be happy to look at them and see what is possible with using a Fleming for your Martzcraft 35.
Another thing you might investigate is using the emergency tiller instead of the wheel. It has been done on other centre cockpit boats before but you'll have to see for yourself with your boat.
Ok thankyou very for that i to am a windvane enthusest
Download the free book SELF-STEERING UNDER SAIL
Autopilots and Wind-steering Systems By Peter Christian Fortmann
It has all the info you need plus diagrams on how to set up control lines for wheel steering. You want to be able to set all the adjustments from the wheel including setting the vane itself. Probably links to the book on the windvane forum or down this page somewhere from an older thread. Or I can send it to you.
Bornfree I don't know him as a personal freind, just to talk to about matters Fleming. Did you get rigged up yet?
If you mean the flemming ? No i still have to sail back to queensland then take the fleming of the old yacht.
Just fixed the forestay had my first sail in four months of owing the boat.
