I am around 67kgs and trying to pack on some pounds. Just wondering wether it is worth getting a radial for my laser?? It has a turbo rig and we dont really get anything over 20knots were i sail. Would a radial be worth it?

I always thought you had to be a fat bastard to be competitive with a full rig on a Laser.
I've only sailed Lasers a few times and been really overpowered in around 10 to 15 knots.(I'm about 70 kg) Not sure how well I had the thing set up though.
P.S. What's a turbo rig?

a turbo rig is i think!!! a "heavy duty" boom vang and allows you to depower more?????

Yeh correct, turbo vang just has a few extra pulleys and the cleat is alligned better makes it easier to pull on/off when going round marks. Im 75kg and just started sailing full rig, so if you have a few radials at your club should probably give that a go.
Thanks
Matt
