I've used a Reefurl system (www.furlings.com) on my 6 tonne gaffer for the past 4 years and never had a problem. It is simple and reliable.
Im going to suggest a downhaul for your hanked on jib, you have 'relatively' small sails already & don't think you really need to spend the $$ on one. Sorry didn't want to turn the thread into furler vs hanks tho'.
Ive heard Hood furlers are ok, as are the Furlex 100 & 200, just from what ive heard, no real experience with them tho'.
cheers

I had one of those on a 42 ft Peterson. They are simple and reliable as well as being fairly cheap. There are a few furlers of that type that have a halliard on the furler itself rather than having a swivel at the top and using the halliard on the mast.
The thing I do not like about them is that they induce forestay sag.
I just installed a new Profurl C320 on my 10m yacht , cost $2,600 supply and fitted by rigging company.
Works well.

Have you used it yet seabird? a few complain it a needs a bit of power to furl in compaired to let say a Harken. the internals look OK in the proful. good maintenance would keep the proful in good nick . wash and grease the bearings biannually ? What do profuse suggest?
HG02,
I have no problems with the Profurl very smooth ( as it should be)
Reading the manual under maintenance it states; " Profurl requires no special maintenance, rinse with fresh water to remove salt as required, Never use WD40 or similar as it will permanently damage the water tightness of the bearings"
So I read that as being maintenance free except for the occasional wash down.
