I am thinking of putting in a foot pump for seawater for the galley for washing dishes etc. I am thinking of routing it with a T piece at the seawater intake for the toilet (yes intake). The toilet is electric so there is the possibility of putting the T behind the intake pump but then I would need to have a valve and turn it between toilet and galley each time its used. With a wife who struggles with things like that and 2 small kids I think the foot pump option is less liekly to cause my greif in the long term.

Boat is a Jeanneau Sunfast 37

Thoughts?
recommendations or
schematics of how anyone here has done it?
Bugger it and buy a watermaker so there are no problems with water storage

Put a good non-return valve (not plastic) in the foot pump line so that the toilet pump cannot suck from the foot pump.
