G'day Tom, sounds like a great plan, it will be warm in the tropics ,you got an air con on the 38?

Welcome to the Forum Tom.
I'm liveaboard a 38 Bruce Roberts. Right now in Sumatra, Northern Indonesia. Tropics are epic. Sailed up from WA 3 years ago.
Still read the forums and hear what's going on down there.

Wind generator is pretty useless around here. It's either calm (less than 10 knots) for 95% of the time or over 30 knots for 5% of the time and your not thinking about power generating then. Get great solar panels, a low draw fridge, LED lights and get out there.
Of coarse a wind generator in the pacific... priceless with the tradewinds.

Cheers, Dunedinite
