Don't know if this has been put up before, but this sounds like it will be a great race.
Only old style boats, so it will be a slow race , and no GPS etc.
Back to the good old days !! 
Gdog6 ... Have you read the book about the original globe race in the 1960s ? .... Great story highly recomended Read !
SandS , yes I have thanks mate, and I just reread it a couple of months ago. Nine starters in the original, and only one crossed the finish line !
Interesting story with Crowhurst pretending to go around, but just sitting in the atlantic !
