Hello,

Still havent managed to get a look inside a red witch.

Just saw a photo of inside the cabin and it didnt look all that big.

Are the v berths big enough for a 6 foot person to lay down on one?

Thanks

Just an observation. You plan on doing a major trip in a Red Witch. Nothing wrong with that.
If you're asking questions on here about how much freeboard they have and if you can actually sleep in one or not ,then I would guess there's a good chance that you're going to come unstuck.
Maybe it would be a good idea to get off the computer and actually go and have a look at a Red Witch.

Thanks for the useless suggestion.

Being winter and working full time to save i am still in the planning phase.

I have my eye on several boats and ask questions about all of them.

If i could go see a red witch tomorrow i would, however, i live in bunbery and being winter the sailing season is over and there are none for sale locally.

The only ones i see for sale are in erth and i'm not going all that way to look inside one. So i asked the question here to save myself a 5 hour drive...

Gotta love the internet.

i can get into my witch and take a heap of pics of the interior and rigging, and email them to u if you want?
i can probably do it by the end of the week
and yes the forward berths provide plenty of space, im 6ft and fit there nicely with room at my feet (lying head aft)
ollie

I was taking the piss to an extent.
I just think it's a bit strange that someone would plan a major mission in a tiny boat and they can't even be bothered going to check one out. I don't think that's a useless suggestion or nonsensicle dribble.
You might notice I also wrote "there's nothing wrong with doing that" I think it would be a good trip. The West coast can be pretty full on and Red Witches are tiny boats with not much free board.
Have a good trip.
Not sorry.

( Google Red Witch yacht. there's heaps of interior photos)

Hey HOOP !
I wasnt claiming you were using dribble!

(not dribble).
And .....Oh hell!...Whatever.............
