I would like to go from Sydney to Palm beach with a power boat. Cruising at 10-15 nods, does anyone know how long will it take me? Is it a safe trip? Thx
Wrong blog, our boats don't go that fast even with all the sail up.
Measure the distance and divide by your speed. It is about 15nm from the harbour to Palm Beach. If your speed is in nods I can't help you, if it is in knots you should get up there in an hour and a bit.
If it is calm it is less dangerous but not totally safe. If it is blowing it is more dangerous.
Don't expect somebody to come and save you so be prepared and think it through.
