Im just curious about the spreader ends on upper spreaders that have continuos rigging going through them. I have re installed my spreader boots and used rubber weld over the boots all secure. My question is should the wire be able to move through the spreader tips or not? I rubber welded over the boots but also on the rigging a bit but cant help but think ive done this wrong. Any ideas?
No it should not be able to move.
I use S/S 7x7 tie wore which is very flexible, then weld tap and then a boot if required.
