Hi all,
My 10 year old Bimini is leaking like a sieve - what can anybody suggest to waterproof it.
PS: Manufacturers of 'Starbrite Waterproofing with PTEF' make a lot of claims - any body have any direst experience?

regards,
allan

I have had the same problem and after trying 2 different products with bad results I was sort of thinking I might have to replace the whole bimini. I decided to try one more time and got a can of spray from BCF, can't remember the name but it was form the US and the can was yellow. Worked a treat, water now beads on the fabric and none gets through.

you can also buy a spray on wax to use on drizabones. works really well. its about 20 bucks for a small spray bottle. kinda expensive but it does work.

I haven't tried the spray on wax but if it's anything like the rub in won't it attract dirt? My oilskins leave marks on anything they touch.
