For sale now.....not mine ....
But if i had it sitting at the bottom of my garden? (if i had a garden on the water)http://www.boatsonline.com.au/boats-for-sale/used/sailing-boats/griffin-34-timber-yacht-sloop/170902
Nice looking boat but it probably wouldn't be if i owned it
I have a 2 inch section at the base of my tiller that i have been meaning to varnish for the past couple of years but i still have not got around to doing it
In the same time period HG has just about rebuilt his boat
Regards Don

It is a lovely yacht that needs an owner who derives as much or more pleasure out of varnishing than sailing.
Strewth!! It is a 1965 built timber yacht and the $85,000 price tag is a huge reduction.
I think what the guy really wants to do is put it on his mantle piece.
Huge price reduction....not what they payed for it originally, not what is worth on the market.
But I can guarantee a huge reduction in time, effort, and real MONEY spent on it! (and will be spent on it)
While its impossible for me not to love and indeed if I owned ,cherish both those beauty's.
I'm afraid I could only truly love with all my heart but one.
And I'm choosing the 60 footer![]()
