Looks a bit like a rip off of the McGregor. If so should sail well for a brick![]()

Looks a lot like a MacGregor, I sailed one and my opinion is they do not sail well and they do not power that good! But they are good floating caravan.![]()
I own and sail one - have had it nearly one year. Its different and challenging. Bit sloppy tacking until you get the knack and can sail it single handed. Last week I was doing 6.5 knots tacking eastbound on the Parramatta river. When you've finished sailing in the harbour its great to get home at 20-25 knots following the rivercat. Worth it just alone for the double-take looks from the other yachties as you fly past them with the 115hp motor planing. Being a hybrid - yacht/powerboat/caravan makes it a compromise - which siuts me perfectly, but won't suit everyone. Beautiful inside for a 28 footer. Love it!
