Anybody has hints.... tax, duties, transport cost etc...
I am looking at a Corsair 24 mk2 on trailer that would be fitting in a container from Florida to WA.

There was an article around 6 months ago, someone did the same thing. I'm pretty sure it was a 24. I'll dig through and see if I can scan you a copy.

Sirocco would be a great buy, it has been raced a lot during its time with some really good and consistant results. The current owner does want to get rid of it, had a starting price at 45k which was unrealistic, at 29k you will be nit picking to reduce it too much further.

Is he after a fast sale..... offering 22k would be insulting the guy?????
Have to ship it to WA any idea of cost somebody?

Certainly would not be insulting to the yacht broker so long as you had the coin available to put on the table. It is a buyers market seems to be the punch line.
The tri is small enough to fit on a truck without too much effort or need for escort vehicles. Might be worth a call to the broker and ask!

Yes that would be excellent but my boss would be reluctant with me taking 5-6 weeks leave!

there's a thread on SA about this boat, consensus seems to be it's a bargain.

I think you'd be doing pretty well to get it for $22k, there's buggerall otherboats worth looking at for that sort of price.

You need to suss out the trailer, from what i'd read, you'd need to spend a little.
If you got it for anywhere near like $22k, it would be worth probably the $6-$8k getting it back, or spend the same on the trailer and tow it back yourself.

Lots of fun to be had at that price...

I am looking at some options, it looks like she is not a fold away like my TT720 would hve to be stored open as it maybe difficult to dismantle (mast needing lowering?) also have to see with my club if they would let me have to spots in the yard and how much???? If I could get her for $ 30000 deliverd it would be a bargain!

Good read, broken down barney rubble style so I could read it

What about buying in the US and sailing the vessel back to Australia, can you still sail in Australian waters under a US flag? Or do you still have to import it?
