I am looking at boat insurance costs for a 40 foot fiberglass monohull. Seems most companies do not want to insure north of Yeppoon or if they do they are after twice the premium you would pay down south.

Anyone able to recommend a company
Cheers

I'm toying with the idea of going through Pantaenius. They won't insure against a 'named storm', but reading the PDS It doest appear to have geographical restrictions except the standard 200nm limit.

I am with club marine i paid an extra 300 on the premium for being in Darwin.
Normal premium for 40ft mono is 1300 plus 300 for Darwin
