Chris,
Truly an excellent sailing place. Not just Lincoln but Tumby too. I was born there and grew up in the place till I joined the navy. Regular visitor till my parents passed away and still get there occasionally. I knew Trevor who I'm guessing is your father. Those days your shop was a garage.
My sailing career started at Tumby sailing as standby crew in Holdfasts, heavy weight and lightweight sharpies. Built a moth up the seafront and brought it back to Nowra
Photo is of an Imperium design moth. packed up ready to head back to Nowra, 1970.
Interesting aerodynamics with cross winds.
howdy ramona , yes trevor was my dad , the garage is now a cabinet making factory.
is that photo taken in tumby (wibberly street) , I do not think you would get far in todays world .lol
