Nice set up! Buying that one http://yachthub.com/list/yachts-for-sale/used/sailing-trimaran/windrider17/142258 and add 2 or2.5k and you are ready to cruise around!

Hey I think that's 'Jim Brown' the trimaran designer. Just been listening to a podcast interview of him, great bit of history.

Best marine washing machine ever invented is a dhoby bucket and pogo stick. Dhoby bucket being a 20 litre plastic bucket, pogo stick being 25 mm s/steel tube with T handle one end and a perforated cone on the other.

Plastic bucket! What navy were you in? We only ever had galvanized rubbish bins.

Cisco must have been in Roylens Navy! 2 foot longer and that tri could have a porta-potty.

Well yes. That is all we ever had too. Updating to the 21st century the plastic buckets take up a bit less room on a yacht and the bottom is a lot easier on the deck paint.

I was in Roylen's Navy for a while. Keeping those old Fairmiles afloat was a heart stopping experience at times.
