Like it a lot roomy but still good sharp yacht. Will be only me and my cat.
Will have to minimalize a lot

Question that came to my mind, what is it like for internet? I have 3G coverage in the area but what about price?
What are your boat building skills like? 25 year old foam core hull thats been raced? I would recommend you go solid hull.
Pity South aces boats been sold that would have been a great live a board
My would be live aboard is a walker H28 small but hopefully over heads might be lower
My thoughts said when your over 70s can you still sailer her , +marina costs and sailability for one person
If u can't carry it you don't need it
I moved aboard a few months ago , I will be off on long service leave very soon . I rented my unit out and gave away everything that was left , my thoughts were why pay to store it that cost can go towards sailing costs . I have no fridge , thankfully I don't drink beer , I'm in the process of adding solar panels and doing the last of the maintanance stuff including new rigging . My boat has a small ( read tiny ) aft cabin so my sleeping gear stays out of the main cabin . Internet is via my phone linked to the ipad . I'm on a mooring so the cost is low . The pain is having to get into the inflatable to go to the marina for showers etc whilst in harbour . Do I miss a house. Nope . I come home have a coffee and throw a line over the side does it get any better . My 10 cents , do it try it and see what happens , how ever I have an escape route I can go back to the house , if I didn't have that back up I'm not so sure I would be doing what I'm doing now .
Felix, that yacht is an Adams-Radford 12 metre, not an Adams 40.
A very nice yacht but like pumpnjump says, be wary of a 25 year old foam core boat.
One thing about living on board is that it tends to keep you fit and nimble with all the up and down laddering and constant motion of the yacht.
I highly recommend setting up a means of having hot showers on board. It is very easy and a device such as this does the job admirably.
Re internet:- Hangtime has Telstra 4g I think and seems to get very good coverage.

I live rurally and have wireless internet with telstra. $105 for 15gb a month
. Or $150 for 25gb a month

Like the shower Cisco! The Adam has hot water and there is good facilities at the marina!
