I expect the annual BBQ on the Beach will take place on Lord Howe in the 2nd week of November this year. I am planning on trying again.
In 2009 3 S&S34s set off and while none of us made it it was great to have boats sailing in open formation for as long as we could.
Is anybody else interested in giving it a go this year? I haven't organised crew yet so it might be possible to team up on my boat.
Pittwater. Depending on the east Australia current and wind either head straight out or go up the coast a bit, maybe Seal Rocks, and then get across the current at right angles.
