Hi

I am looking at mooring costs for a 12m Mustang. It will be a wet mooring. I was looking around Wynnum but they are around $700pm so wondered if anyone knew of anywhere cheaper?

I have seen there are some in Bulimba but there is no refueling facilities there.

many thanks

Hi Mate, and welcome to the forum

I'm not sure what the going rate is in your side of the world, but I was paying close to that for a 10 meter pen in Fremantle. I'm now paying about $450 a month on a dry rack.

So to me, 700 would sound about right.

I think the only way you will get it any cheaper is a private rental pontoon in one of the canal estates.

Mate was paying just over half that on someone's pontoon near raby bay.....little old retired dear that sold hubbies boat when he died, so used the pontoon to supplement her pension.

Getting hard to find though as they are popular.

I'll second that, Supersonic. A few years ago (OK, ten!) when I got my first yacht, I did a letterbox drop around maybe 50 houses in Raby Bay, and got a couple of responses. Much cheaper than the marinas.
