Hi 1 just downloaded Seaclear and OpenCPN and need digital maps to play with, I wondered if anyone knows where I could get one of around the Morton Bay,Can't scan one in as no scanner at the moment.
As some of you use these programs has anyone tried both and which do you think is the best one?
I have a laptop to use and have to buy a GPS puck, any one got pointers on what to buy before I get one?
Thanks Lorri

With a GPS puck it might pay to get one that defaults at a baud rate of 48kbps and the Sirf Star 111 chip seems to be the flavour of the month.

You can also get a lot of information on this forum herewww.gpsaustralia.net/
