All ye whom shall enter The devils waters will perish!!!!!

The place is a bloody mess!!..... HUGE smokey fire on straddle island, it's 44 degrees Celsius and blowing 35 to 40 knots. Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!! WTF!

So much for the last weekend of sailing before work. Kill me now.

Don't know where you are but We raced this afternoon at Redcliffe this afternoon and never got over 22kn. SE is now in at Redcliffe and has not peaked over 25Kn. Even the live readings for the bay don't show anything like that. May be you need some new wind gear and another Rum.

So yeah......anyway.....so we finally got across to canipa. Miles n miles from redcliffe I might forking well add grrrrrr...and the fire was amazing. I'll post some pics tomorrow. The change came through and it was all bad for us. Put the boat on our swing moring and rowed away. Gotta get the boat back to its pen at manly so that will give me an excuse to have a day off this week. Was really hot out on the water thermometer was saying 42. I notice it was 40.3 degrees at redcliffe at 11.55 am and the highest wind gust was 32 knots on the bom "live readings" webpage.
