Just subscribed. The charts are nothing like i expected. I am in Wyndham (Western Australia) right now and the navionic chart just shows a few lines as the shore. No detail whatsoever. Certainly no depth lines on the way through the entrance. Is there something I haven't done here or is this it?
You need an internet connection to download detail. Wifi will do. Once downloaded you don't need the connection anymore. You load all the detail you need before you start your day or passage or whatever. To download the detail you can just zoom in on the area you want and wait a few seconds.
Yes, josusa's right Cav. I downloaded Navionics onto an ipad a little while ago. You need Wifi to do it
and it will give you all the info, but once done you don't need wifi again. Unless you want to download
more area of course.
