Any one would know about those little racers? Are they racers really? Look like they have a very small sail area but the hull look interresting, could it be pimped up/ Bow spit and screecher, taller mast / what I like in it is it is small and can sailed and launched by one person. Any advise would be great!

I have mine for sale and that guy contacted me with a swap and cash adjustment, was just thinking about it but have no idea about what sort of boat the Nesscraft is, all I know is they have a good reputation but......... are they fast???? I do lot more racing than cruising!
To describe the Nesscraft (first one I have ever seen or heard of). as a sportsboat or to contemplate the changes you mention would be;

You are on the right track with a Young 780 if you want to race a boat. As with any boat, either get a surveyor or have a really good idea of what you are looking at, beauty of smaller sports boats is a lack of "systems" that need checking, just verify hull/ rig integrity and sails, an outboard and maybe 1 or 2 thru hull fittings, anymore than that, (head and sink) and you are not looking at a trailable sportboat, the quick ones will not have any thru hull fittings.
I would look at the websites for Trailer Sailors or go to ABSA, (sports boat assoc.) but the boats listed there are very preformance orientated.

Sold my Farrier and went back to single hull, no more training wheels Cisco 
, I got myself a nice Farr 740 it is competitive and still has some accomodation. Decided for the Farr against the Ross 780, the Farr will allow overnight stay at Rotto in some comfort and has better resale value also it is plastic against western cedar and epoxy. First race will be next Sat, looking forward to it!
Saturday, first sail on my new toy, good first impression, she is fast and point very close to the wind (almost as good as the Etchell) and keep very good speed as well. Wind was 12 knot with gust at 18 to 20 knot reminded me that monos can heel a fair bit after having her very close to flat in the water 
. Found that the electronic is a bit dodgy............ but that is next weekend work a few dry connections, also 1/2 way in the race had to pull off as the main halier snapped at the shackle and lost the rope in the mast 
, reroping is my next project!
Overall I like it, was a good deal! She has no name but I think she used to be called Farr Better I am thinking about naming her Farr Kit or Farr Mented! But is it bad luck to rename her?

don't worry about changing the name, I did it with the first boat.
I did the whole thing though, giving the name back to Poseidon or whoever it, writing it on something and suspending it in the water until the name went off etc... take of all references to the old name etc...

Well yes........... went back to the leaners side........... I like to change yacht every 2-3 years, I did well so far(r?) never loosing money and most of the time making some. My first was a hobie 14 I bought for $ 300 and sold for 650 and kept going to a 23K boat the secret is not to be in a hurry to sale and take advantage of all the sailors that rush in and find themself with 2 boats and in a rush to move the old one to make space for the new one, suited me well! I will keep the Farr for as long as I have fun with her and then move her!
Wish I could do that with my wife!
