Notice of Race for Peel Marathon

OFFICIAL NOTICE OF RACE:

PORT BOUVARD YACHT CLUB
ALL PUMPS PLATFORM RACE

Venue & Date:
The Port Bouvard Sporting & Recreational Clubs’ division of sailing and recently affiliated Port Bouvard Yacht Club invites all sailors of under 6.8m catamarans to sail in the annual Platform Marathon Race in the Peel Harvey Estuary on February 14th 2010.

Rules:
The Racing Rules of Sailing and the class rules of the yachts entered will govern this race. All boats will be handicapped according to their VYC yardstick.

Prizes:
Prizes will be made available thanks to our sponsor All Pumps and will be awarded to the boat first to finish and the boat that wins on handicap.

Entries & Fees:
All Entries will be accepted on Feb 14th at PBYC between 9am and 11am. Registration Fees are non refundable & will be $15 per person,

Competitors Information:
A debrief will be held around 12pm for sailors with all relevant information about the course. Sausage Sizzle and Drinks will be available, also showers and toilets in our new facility. Please Email Jason at [email protected] to register your intrest in this event. Hope to see you there.

Sounds like an awesome regatta.
I know many of the Tornado fleet would have loved to come down, but we have our State Titles that weekend.
Maybe next year.
