Is a Nutshell pram sail boat unsuitable for a beginner because If it capsizes you're stuck?
Are there any modifications that can be done easily that would make it easy to right?
Right the boat and use a bailing bucket as kids do in a Sabot, as long as the boat has positive boyancy which all small boats should have anyway.
These boats are completely wooden.

Is there an easy diy way to add buoyancy?
IMO
1. Would be hard to capside with that area of sail unless you sail it in the surf!
2. If you capsised would be very hard to climb on board
3. Would only sail it with little wind on flat water, looks like a pretty toy more for display than use!
What about this, would it be suited to an beginner? Would it be easy to right if it did capsize?
It's about 8ft by 5ft and 40kgs
