Hello
i am looking for other owners of the Oz built class of yacht designed by Savage back in the 80's, these boats are known as Oceanics and were commonly used in the charter fleet in the Whitsundays back then. We would like to establish a network with the view of sharing info and experience with this yacht. I would also like to welcome any other replies regarding the many aspects of cruising life and yachts of any type. thankyou

Cheers and Happy sailing Cisco![]()
Edit:- The one in Qld (Stylopora) has been around the world recently and the owner then wrote several articles for Cruising Helmsman magazine. I don't know if the current vendor is the same guy. Cheers.
Thanks for the reply, i will have a look, and yes the cruisersforum is an excellent resource and continues to grow strongly.
Hello Rambler, we have owned a Savage 42 for 2 years now and would enjoy talking to other Savage 42 owners. Our boat is named "Acropora" and was originally one of the charter fleet that sailed out of Hamilton Island.
