I looked at that one back in 1999. Those are some very old photos! The boat was extremely tired back then...hadn't been well maintained for years and it showed.

Happy to put some elbow grease and some money in over time.
I'm located quite a way from it and although I'm happy to fly there and would probably end up flying a yachtie friend with me, I'm looking for some tips on what I should be asking to learn more at this early stage of enquiry.
Any advice welcome.

Big boat for a first boat. I particularly like this boat but would find it a bit of a handful both on the water and maintenance wise. Once you get to 34 feet and above the running costs escalate rapidly. Everything is heavy. Try lugging a spare sail from down below onto the fore deck. Much is going to depend on how old you are and what stage in life your at.
Good buy though.
