Reading the blog, good thing to find out the things that go wrong before you leave harbour. Other than that, safe journey

Regarding the Barlow winch manual I suggest you try Hutton Winches in St. Marys,

Thanks, I was taking the piss out of myself with the winch. I sometimes can't help myself.

But yea it was surprising I had so much growth on the prop. So much for prop speed. Thanks for the wishes on a safe journey, we really take it safe these days being elderly:)

Cheers.

Love to do that trip, I think it's PNG this year. How's the weather up your way? A little cool in Sydney, looking forward to the tropics. I have some friends up that way now heading for Darwin and the indo rally.

Cheers.

PNG is not a safe place these days, be extra careful or only go to places that are very secure.

Hi all, North Qld weather is as always, great, this is the best time for sailing North. We may be ahead of you all, should be in Thursday Island by mid July, Darwin by 3rd week August, this gives us about 6 weeks in the Kimberly before the next wet and then we will drive south, Exmouth by early November, Fremantle by end of November, however there is every chance we might stall in the warmer weather !@!@
