WELL SINCE THIS FORUM IS FULL OF TROLLING, I MIGHT AS WELL JOIN IN.

EVERY POST I MAKE IS LIKE ANOTHER BUCKET OF WATER BACK OUT OF MY SINKING CONCRETE BOAT.

Yeah, cant complain :)

Although, the marina is still under heavy development, seagrass wrack blocks the channel causing me to run aground often, giant piles of seaweed stinks day in and day out. So, i guess you get what you pay for. But year round perfect weather sailing on a protected bay full of fish and whales at this price, cant complain :P

BLOODY EXPENSIVE here now days. Sadly had to let the Hood 23 go, couldn't afford a mooring in Sydney. At least I've still got the trailer sailor.

Not enough of it. Day sails out of Pittwater. Try to get away for short cruises. Retire soon so will hopefully get more time on the water.

That's a real bugger spongeblob.
I can't get time away from work for mine, and I've still loads of cosmetic stuff to do to it. So I do a smash n grab which sucks. It's all over so fast I didn't get to enjoy the trip. The bloody sun was harsh last time too. Forgotten how hot it xan be in summer on the water. Basically I put the sails up, the missus gets cranky at the way I talk to her in my excited voice and then it takes the rest of the trip for her to settle down again. "No no!...point it into the wind love..Jesus!"

hahaha

that sounds like my trips with the missus

i no longer ask her to do anything

she just sits in the cockpit and takes it all for granted :P

wouldnt think tiller steering was so complicated but she just seems incapable of maintaining a heading :P

kill for an autopilot :P

just had a look where that is. You must do most of your sailing offshore?

I have never sailed inland. Coastal cruising for me, never more than 20 nautical miles though :P One day i will have an old bluewater cruiser and will experience the middle of the indian, for now i'll just enjoy the coastal views.
