Can I get some advice for a newbie to the antifoul/boat painting game?
My clansman is coming out of the water today and it needs a fresh lick of paint all over.
I want to scrape the antifoul off, prime and then apply a new coat of antifoul. Something for a economical lasting affect, not speed. Could I get some ideas for primers/antifouls off the whitworths catalogue (as link below).

Also what paints should I be using for above waterline and top deck? Best methods of application??
The weather has been pretty wet here of late, so I guess I'll be tarping up.
Any advice in regards to the process would be greatly appreciated.

I've used International Micron Extra Antifouling for the last two times and have got 18 months out of it. The only downside is the 4lt tin won't quite do two coats. (10m mono)
For that reason I'm using Hempel Olympic soft which comes in a 5lt tin and will give me two coats. I've heard some good reports on the product also. Bias Boating stores sell it for $180.
Why are you removing the old antifoul?,if in good condition just light sand, prime the bare spots with primocon and apply two coats of new antifoul.
