I found this yacht design in "Wooden Boat" Magazine #204 the October 2008 edition.
It can be built in 3 different versions .....
Interesting design, have a look and post your thoughts......

Hate to say it but it looks like another peice of sh1t that will be popular with the 5 people that are looking for something to build at home but will rarely sail them as they will be a rediculously wet and from the shots that can be found a sluggish performer around any course. (oh, any boat can look really good driving down a wave but every other shot I think shows the real potential of this crapper)[}:)]

I think that has answered my questions,
I think the answer is stay with the popular classes, for racing, club sailing, and eventually resale.
Nobody wants to be the only one with a missfit yacht.
