Hi people.

Have any of you out there ever taken a yacht into Patawalonga Lake at Glenelg South Oz before?
I'm taking the yacht there for a bum scrape and anti foul and I'm curious about water depth. My draft is 2.1m.

Cheers!

yes now and zen they where good 7 or something years ago when I launched.
you need a $150 beeper thing to get through the lock which I can send to you.
$50 per week for a berth and your just a 5 minute walk from Glenelg centre!
The other option is Adelaide shore Marina/port river Marina about 15 NM away with a travel lift.
Regards.

Yes southace, it looks like it is in a handy spot.

How did you find the guys at the marine shop - they sounded pretty helpful on the phone.
They told me all I had to do was call the bloke on his mobile and he would open the lock for me - but I will check if there is any cost involved, if that's the case, I will take you up on a loan of the beeper thing, thanks!

Nice clean lines on the boat in the pictures - is that your current yacht?

Cheers.

Those adjustable V cradles are the best I have seen and would be very easy on the hull.

Na Now and zen that's my previous yacht re-launched after a total re-build.
We fitted the new mast and rigging in the lock that was a bit stressful.
I finished the fit out over 6 months while partly living aboard in the Pat. They are pretty laid back at the slip and you shouldn't have any problems.
Regards
