G'day,
I have been following this forum for some months now, really enjoying the wealth of knowledge. I am interested in maybe a boat purchase in the future, as now recently retired. My main interest at this stage would be cruising the east coast as far south as Tassie. Not full time, but for reasonable periods as we have other commitments.
Wondering about including in my "possibles" list the Phantom 33. I haven't found much information on these and seem to have a soft spot for the Aussie boats. Any comments appreciated.

A mate who sails with me has a Phantom. He regularly sails it single handed around Pittwater and loves it. Great crusing boat as well.
Just the usual maintenance items to look out for. The only real problem he has had was with the (very) old Yanmar, which he has now upgraded to a fresh water model.
