Hi all, bought a 28 foot steel sloop and will circumnavigate aus soon. Anyone know a good place where I can slip my boat for a week and do some work on it close to pittwater or sailing distance from? I can find weekend joints and others that want an arm and a leg with an option on the kidney... but nothing reasonable, prefer north of or just south of but will consider anywhere in a days sail from here.

Henry, I made enquiries a while back of Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club. www.rpayc.com.au/boatyard

You don't have to be a member, but I think their prices are reasobable for what you want.

Cheers,
Michael

Just sorted, I found booker bay marina... $971 for them to do everything, including two coats which was about $300 less than anywhere around here (if and when you can get your boat in). Was going to do it all myself but for that price it is too easy to get them to do it.
