What is the logic of the great big hole at the aft end of this cockpit? I can think of many bad points about it, but cant think of anything positive, except that the tiller is so low it would otherwise hit an extended cockpit seat. The mainsheet traveller already reduces the available space, so why chop off the seating?

The design lends it self to a wheel steering or the option of Id say Yarra
I have a pedestal and wheel which you can have after I remove them from my boat. However the course master is attached to the quadrant so thats staying.
