hi
I sometime notice that when I unfurl the headsail it does not fully unfurl and I have to go up to the bow and twist it that last rotation. So is there any maintenance I should be doing so this does'nt occur.
cheers

Stepping down a size with the cordage cured it for me.

mmm, is that a tricky job changing that.
Guess I should read the manual.

I don't understand why a thinner cordage will help when unfurling. I could understand the point if the sail wouldn't furl up all the way because the thinner line would allow more turns and hence furl up the sail completely. But the problem as I understand it is that the sail furls up OK but for some reason was not fully unfurling. Have I miss something here.

Tend to agree with the thinner cord. Havefun, when you unfurl the jib the ccord winds on, when furling the sail you are taking the cord out of the drum

Plus one for thinner cord , or more wind helps also

The furler looks to have a fully enclosed drum for the furling line. I the line is too thick it will jam in the drum when the sail is unfurled.
