Hi
I'm looking at buying a new Yacht that has raymarine ST60 wind depth and speed instruments. I have a B&G Vulcan on my current boat that I want to put on the new boat.
Will the raymarine transducers work on the B&G. Im happy to run the ST instruments as well but I like the sail steer and race start stuff on the B&G.
I cant seem to find out if the ST stuff is NMEA2000 and or Seatalk. If Seatalk can I just get an adapter cable(device net I think) to link it to the NMEA2000 network on the B&G

Cheers Patto

I understand the main problem will be with the wind transducer output. The Raymarine wind sensor output is only compatible with Raymarine units before translating to NEMEA 2000. Gets very messy especially if you want to use all the really cool wind data on B&G displays.
