Does anybody out there know the displacement of a Red Eagle yacht?

I'm also keen to learn how best to configure the mainsheet traveller ...

Not sure about the red eagle, which I think is a little longer/heavier than the Red Jacket, but the ballast of the Jacket was 450 pounds and the redwitch 650pounds.....so you may be looking at around 1000 pounds.

Yes ... "sailboatdata.com" confirms both these figures ... with displacements of 950 pounds (430kg) for the Red Jacket and 1433 pounds (650kg) for the Red Witch. THe Red Eagle profile seems closer to the former than the latter. My Red Eagle is just over 6m long and weighs 920kg with a very substantial trailer (yet to be separately weighed). There seems to be very little information on the internet!

Don't forget Ballast and displacement are two different things...displacement being more of a total weight measure whereas ballast is keel or centreboard weight.
I would think the red eagles and jackets had a high ballast weight given their keel shapes.
