G,day all
I own a 20ft Redwitch, which is currently moored on Lake Macquarie and I am after a cheap trailer or plans for a trailer so I can build one, or if any one lives in the Sydney to Newcastle area who has one and would let me take some measurements of it.
Cheers. Karl.

What about trying the Red Witch sailing association in Perth? The other alternative is to buy a boat trailer and modify to suit. I bought a dual wheel boat trailer off Ebay that was custom built for an inboard ski boat. I am in the process of welding up a frame to take the keel etc at the moment. The idea being to have it as a mobile slip to tow my quarter tonner home. Boats 26 foot long and almost 10 foot wide so it wont be road registrable. Only half a mile from the ramp to my place. Plenty of info and photos on the interweb!

Thanks for the reply. I will try the Redwitch association but I was hoping someone locally might have a trailer that I can copy. Modifying a 2nd hand trailer is another option but the Redwitch trailers look pretty basic so I thought it would be just as easy to make one.

Plenty of photos of Red Witches on trailers on the web. Print out a few and using the known measurements from your own vessel draw up a set of plans. Use a picture programme to scale the measurements. The rubber torsion suspension on the RW trailers might be expensive to come by. Cost it all out, it might be much cheaper to buy a secondhand trailer and modify.
