The clears on Alibi should have been called "opaques" when we bought her. Diligent mould and dirt removal improved the situation but we still had to look around the dodger to check for super tankers!
I've just had a good go with Star Brite Plastic Restorer and followed up with their Plastic Polish as recommended. The results have been spectacular. I can now see a swallow on the pulpit.
No connection with the product, just like to share successes and failures.
Cheers
Bristol.
Mine are not exactly clear either but was afraid to have a go in case it made them worse , might have to try now ??

I tried a little bit first for the same reason - however mine were so bad, it would have been hard to make them worse!
Try a clear polish like this www.whitworths.com.au/starbrite-clear-plastic-restorer-step-2-237ml I haven't used it but some of these starbright concoctions seem to work pretty well. I used their rust stain remover with great success. When they are clean use plexus or similar to clean and protect.
The best product is plexiglass they use it in the aircraft industry I noticed it in Bunnings a few weeks back. If that fails they will need replacing.
Trialled the Star Brite Plastic Restorer and Plastic Polish on my dodger yesterday, no difference with the dark brown damaged sections on the edges and brown spots but the clear and opaque sections came up a treat, thanks for the tip.
