S&S 34 or Townson 34?? What's the Verdict??

Me neither. It might be a nice boat but why they think they can pass it off as an S&S34 is beyond me.

I have been conversing with the broker who told me the current and previous owners believed it to be a Townson built S&S and as you know brokers have to rely on info supplied by vendors.

It not being an S&S in no way detracts from the yacht.

More than 100 Townson 34s were built and I guess you could say they are to the Kiwis what the S&S 34 is to Aussies.

I know this boat and her owners, she has been well loved and constantly upgraded. I'm sorry to see them selling her.

Forgot to add that the bow thruster and new motor were installed at the same time.

They would probably do better with the sale by advertising it as a Townson rather than trying to pass it off as an S&S34. S&S buyers will know that it isn't one and perceive the sellers as being dishonest and untrustworthy.

This yacht has been in my homeport now for a few says again, I guess on her way back to Batemans Bay. Nice looking boat.
