Hi All

I have been asked for an update on the Sabre Dinghy progess in WA.

The Sabre Nationals will be held at PDSC from the 29th of December 2013 and we are looking at 80 to 90 boats.

PDSC fleet is still expanding with new fibreglass boats on order.

EFYC now has 26 boats with its first ladies skipper and junior skipper competing last week.

It is rumored that Rockingham has 2 boats and a third in constuction, currently looking for a club to call home.

Walpole Sailing club has its first Sabre.

Nationaly Sabares are building over 100 boats per year, with fleets in all states still growning fast. The biggest prevention of growth is the ability of the boat builders to build the boats.

About the right price for just the trailer, the boat is a liability.

Looks like Gaboon ply with ash trim to me. Needs a centreboard case, couple of hours of sanding and three coats of White knights paving paint and it would be a great boat. Better than paying six and a half grand for the other boat that appears regularly on eBay!
