Iam looking for advise on the best way to get sail training I live at Jervis Bay nsw I have had boats all my life and still own 3 fishing boats this time of life I want to get into sail and after knowing more about sailing boats I like to purchase my own.
Is there any body out there that can help a keen starter to sail

Thanks in Advance

Stan,
Your best bet is to wander down to the Callala Bay sailing club just South of the boat ramp and make your self known. They have a winter series on but I'm not sure what weekends. The normal season starts at the end of September with a regatta on the long weekend in October. The sailing club operates from the sailing school building there. The yacht club there operate from the beach. So you have plenty of choices. The sailing club is always looking for members and the yacht owners crew. Across the bay at Vincentia there is a catamaran sailing club.

I would suggest starting off in a sailing dinghy and learn the basics before deciding where you want sailing to take you.

The Vincentia club has a club house on Plantation point. They probably don't start till October either.
