Looking to replace my very old genoa and hoping to improve performance.

I have decided to go for Tri Radial sail in either Challenge Warp-Drive or Contender Fibrecon Pro Radial, which are both designed for radial sail construction.

Has anyone had any experience with either cloth?

I have always shied away from woven for Radial cut. Use a lot of laminates, But both these cloths are meant to be better then the rubbish that is used sometimes for radial cutting. But no experience yet.

Hi Seabird,
I have used a fair few woven radial materials for headsail and mainsail From Hydranet (Dyneema) through too Pro Radial High tenacity Dacrons
And have no problems with shape retention and durability or longevity . I personally believe it is a way better step up in performance to ordinary cruise Dacron

We are currently building a Pro radial genoa for a Jenneau 30 yacht up here is the Brisbane Area.
If you would like to know anything else you are welcome to give us a call on (07) 32031330 or 0400910618
