Hi all-We are hauling out our Northshore 33 shortly and looking for advice on good, durable antifoul suitable for the 120s alloy saildive and prop.Volvo usedto have a spray type product, but is no longer available. The Altex/International alloy antifouls pretty much wears off after a couple of uses and so is in my opinion a waste of time.

" prop speed" may be suitable ? Works very well on bronze , check it out may be your answer.

Yes we have used Prop speed on the prop(Liquid Gold!) and I agree it works well on bronze, but as recommended a non copper based coating is to be applied around the leg and on the immediate hull section around 200mm to prevent corrosion of the alloy.
Has anyone used Propspeed on the leg and hull? I have been told by the slipway here that it works best on moving parts such as props and shafts.

Yeah prop speed not recommended for sail drives.

Jotun do a antifoul for ally in 1l cans now. Can't remember it's name at the moment but it's nearly half the price of the International stuff and we had goot results out of it.
