back when i was sailing my old cherub.
down in rockingham was screamin into the bottom mark fairly tight and we went down this wave and did a really sudden and violent nosedive/cartwheel where i got slammed into the bottom of the sidestay. had purple/black bruising all down the side of my torso, covered an area maybe 2 foot long. that was with the protection of 4mm wetty and a pfd. so was pretty violent! haha

Long ago in my days in an NS14, screaming in to shore at Seacliff in SA on a tight reach. The dagger board was 1/2 way up, and I was kneeling either side of it trying to lift it a bit further, when we ran aground.

Fully loaded up on the old gonads that day. Must be why I have no problem wearing a seat harness now
