Sailing in Newcastle??

Hay guys, i jus got my acceptence to go uni in newcastle!! Well excited ne ways, im a keen avid sailor i use to sailin in england an i was 2nd best sailor at my club. i was just wondering if there is much sailing in newcatle?? I live in Port Macquarie at the moment and there isnt much going on here, plus i beleive the season has finished now where as in England the season is just kicking off!!

If you want to take a drive Lake Maquarie is the best spot for sailing there is plenty of good sailing clubs for yachts and dinghys. Really close competition.

dependant on what you want to sail, belmont 16s is probably the go. if your stayin in town its bout a 20 min drive tops to the club.
the lake is one of the best places in australia to sail.

i think the season is almost over, but there is still some great winter days ahead
