I'm still trying to locate the yacht my grandfather built in the early 70's. Named 'Orion 3' it's a 23ft Waratah twin bilge keel masthead sloop. 23ft 'Waratah' yacht.Tasmania - YouTube. He sold it around the late 70's and it was sailed to King island, Bass strait. I would also like to get my hands on a fresh set of plans for the original Waratah design (21 footer) by Dennis knight in Gosford NSW. A monetary reward is offered! I have an incomplete set of plans (the same ones my g'dad used ), I use them to build models. There's also a 'Crusader' twin keel design by dennis, if anyone has either of these plans I'd like to hear from you.
